How much are the contributions that I have to pay?

You have to pay both the employer's contribution and the employee's contribution for your pension.
The contribution rate:

  • varies from 7 % to 16,36 % (depending on the time and nature of the employment)
  • is applied to your wages or to the guaranteed average minimum monthly wage (2 073,51 euros on 01.05.2024 at the index figure 176,06).

To this amount, a late payment interest should be added of 10 % a year.

When do I have to pay?

You pay:

  • outright, within 6 months after the definitive decision;
    or
  • in instalments during five years at most, at an interest rate of 6,5 % a year.

What is the influence on my pension?

These periods are taken into account to check whether you can retire early, as well as for the calculation of your pension amount.

The annual retirement benefit, depending on the regularization application and the start date of the pension, on 01.05.2024 approximately amounts to: (career calculated on the basis of 45ths):

  • 331,76 euros at the amount as a single person,
  • 414,70 euros at the household rate.
