We handle incoming questions as follows:

Urgent questions (e.g. about payment problems) are always given priority.
We answer other questions as quickly as possible, in the order in which we receive them.

We realise that everyone would like to receive an answer as quickly as possible, but a question about the payment of a pension is more urgent than an estimate for someone who will retire in 10 years' time.

Fun fact: Every year, we answer over 1 million phone calls and 200 000 emails and letters.

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, you can request an appointment with the assistance of a sign language interpreter, if necessary:

What happens once we receive your request?

If we can answer your request in writing, you will receive a reply via your chosen contact method.
If an appointment is necessary, we will contact you within 15 days to arrange one.

Important: only request the assistance of a sign language interpreter if you are fluent in sign language.

The Pensions Service is currently testing a chatbot. The text version of the chatbot can answer your questions on the following subjects:

all certificates the Pensions Service sends;
the combination of several pensions.

The answers provided by our chatbot are purely informative and have no legal value.

This chatbot does not have access to your personal pension file and therefore cannot answer any specific questions about your personal pension. In that case, you can consult your online pension file on mypension.be or use our contact form.
