Payment issues
Are you experiencing issues with your pension payment?
The three most common causes are:
You have changed bank account number, bank or payment method
Please note: if you change your account number or bank, do not close your previous account until we have paid your pension into the new account for the 1st time. In this way, you avoid any interruptions in the payment of your pension.

- you live abroad and move to Belgium;
- you live abroad and move to another country.
Please note: if your move causes a change in payment method, bank account number or bank, please inform us in time.
3 You live abroad and have not (yet) returned your life certificate
If you live abroad, you will receive a life certificate at least once a year. You should do the following with this form:
- fill it in;
- have it filled in and signed (validated) by an official body;
- return it to the Federal Pensions Service.
If you do not return this form or do not return it in time, the FPS will suspend your pension payments.
